Classic Macramé Plant Hanger with Wooden Beads

Plant Hangers, Tutorials

The traditional macramé plant holder is a classic for a reason. This simple design is an iconic macrame product that is the easiest thing to refer to when you want to explain to someone what macrame is. It is actually where my hobby for crafting macrame began as I needed somewhere to hang my indoor plants.

The design uses basic macramé knots so if you haven’t tired macramé before, this is a great project for a beginner learning macrame for the first time.

Easy adjustable friendship bracelet, all you need is some rope – it is made from JUST ONE piece of cotton cord.

Materials

  • 1 x 200 cm 3mm cotton cord

TIPS

Don’t tighten up your square knots too quickly otherwise the middle cords will bunch up and you might think you have knotted incorrectly. Take your time and pull gently upwards to reduce the friction which causes bunching!
